Today I needed to go and get a new rug for the kitchen, so decided to venture into the city to the new Briscoes store (they were having a sale 🙂 – and on the way I made the poplars my choice of photo of the day.

These are the photos that didn’t make it onto Christchurch Daily Photo.

I still like them a lot, so decided I will use this blog as an ‘overflow’ photo blog in addition to putting on photos that may only appeal to me for their abstract qualities or oddities.
