Blogging on the road, in a moving vehicle

It’s a long drive to my mothers. I don’t do the driving, I couldn’t blog in a moving vehicle if I was… That would be ridiculous! So, on long drives I get bored, especially if I know the scenery and the towns we are going through. Entertainment however is never that far away when you are a geek in possession of electronics and data plans!

For just a short trip away, we have at our disposal… A Samsung galaxy II, a Samsung galaxy IV, car inverter and a Mossi car voltage to USB converter, an IPad, a Sony a200 camera, a Sony nex5, and a Sony Vaio laplet. Ok, think that’s all. We are prepared for anything. In fact a few years back I used the inverter to power my laptop to blog about the earthquake. I sat in the car in the dark, typing out my post.

This post is coming via the WordPress iPad app for WordPress. I took the photo using the iPad as we drove past the hill that is located somewhere between Oamaru and Dunedin. It’s my Samsung phone that is powering the wireless hot spot my iPad is using! Yes, I like to mix things up. I nave a little bit of phone envy at the moment, as Bruce now has the latest galaxy and it is freakin awesome. It is now also our gps system as his tomtom died. Rip tomtom.

Well, that’s all from the road, as I am starting to feel a bit queasy with my head down typing. And yes it has occurred to me to get a stand for the iPad for the car!

Ok, so something went wrong and this would not post from the car…
