Had a big day, out at about 9.30am, but took it quietly and had a few breaks in between. My goal was to plant out my seedlings (zinnias and statice). I did that, and in between, I moved the big grass from the deck garden down into the driveway garden.

I wasn’t able to do this last year, as I couldn’t dig into this section as it’s mostly stones. Luckily, with the mattock I was able to dig a decent hole and put in some lime and some compost. It also got some bark on top and a good watering.

I planted lots of static seedlings in here, and a line of zinnias.
