I’ve been really surprised at how early some of my flowers are – especially the tulips and freesias. It’s really only mid winter after all! I’m not complaining, I love it, as it means Spring is not far off and then I’ll be overwhelmed with flowers again.’ The rose is called ‘My Mum’ and I planted it in memory of my mother. It was the anniversary of her passing yesterday, and I only just noticed today just one single flower was out.
