My Work

I build and market websites for a living and give the occasional workshop to SME’s on how to make the most out of their websites (with particular emphasis on e-commerce). I’ve been doing this work for longer than I care to remember, but I will admit to using Netscape 2 and Alta Vista and knowing internet time B.G (before Google).

Over the years I’ve worked as a web designer, search engine optimiser and production manager. By far the worst job of these was production management, I don’t recommend it as a career choice unless you want a whole heap of stress in your life.

Now, I’m self employed and that is a whole other story!  I’m bound to write about self employment at some point, and perhaps some tips for young web professionals (though these days I learn plenty from them too).

Want a Website for your Business?

I design websites using the WordPress publishing system which means you get a blog as well. The website can also act as an information hub connected to social media websites – giving you a pretty ‘kick-ass’ website.  If you’d like to know more visit www.webmatters.co.nz.
